The Original Rainbow Cone has scooped its five-flavor, sliced-and-stacked cone from this Beverly storefront since 1926, when founders Joe and Katherine Sapp built a special slicing tool specifically to layer chocolate, strawberry, Palmer House, pistachio, and orange sherbet into one cone rather than serve them separately.
