The kitchen doesn't run its own menu — it hosts a rotating cast of resident pop-ups instead, having hosted Taco Sublime, Sera Pinsa Roman pizza, Smash Jibarito, and Kanto Taquería's Filipino tacos before Shorty's smashburgers became the current, sole kitchen resident -- Shorty's has since been ranked #1 smashburger and #2 best burger overall in Chicago by The Infatuation.
